Douglas & everyone, I ended up adding fields to the table and to the form and it started working again, using Import SYLK. Apparently the issue is related to using variables in the input form? Alan On Mon, Sep 11, 2017 at 1:59 PM, Alan Tilson wrote: > Douglas, > I can save the Excel file as a C

Douglas, I can save the Excel file as a CSV, so I'll try that. Thanks! Alan On Mon, Sep 11, 2017 at 1:10 PM, Douglas von Roeder via 4D_Tech < 4d_tech@lists.4d.com> wrote: > Alan: > > A long time ago (mid-90's) there was a bug in the Excel SYLK import such > that if your first character was a numb

Alan: A long time ago (mid-90's) there was a bug in the Excel SYLK import such that if your first character was a number (or alpha), the import would fail. I can't recall which character type caused the issue. Is there a way to do a TTR or CSV import? -- Douglas von Roeder 949-336-2902 On Mon,

Hello everyone, I'm trying to import timesheet data from an Excel file saved as a SYLK file. Sometimes it works perfectly loading the variables in my Input Form and sometimes they are all blank. Same SYLK file, same form, same code. Any ideas about what to look into would really be appreciated.
