I actually may use your method. However, does this still work if the 4D SQL
server isn't running? I'm kind of new to the SQL part of 4D.

name for a table, but you wanted the Name set in the preferences. I am not sure
why you need this, but it is stored at the end of the following file:
...\4D\Resources\default.4DPreferences
