-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Folks: Our application to Google Summer of Code 2011 is now in. Google begins reviewing organization applications on Monday, and is expected to announce the accepted organizations on the 18th, a week from today. We have until 23:00 UTC to correct any last minute errors or omissions in the application, but it looks very solid - I think better than last year.
Google begins evaluating applications on Monday. Over the next several days, especially the next three, we'll continue to improve the documentation on our wiki (which the application refers to, and Google will consider when evaluating orgs). If you'd like to follow along with all the GSoC goodness, you're encouraged to join the plan9-gsoc group[0]. Traffic is light so far (most of the good stuff is on the mentor's list at this stage) but will be picking up once the list of accepted orgs goes out (a week from today). Many thanks to all the mentor's who've been contributing to our list of student projects and the general discussion on expectations and such. Keep the good ideas coming.
