Could be that the PC has a Firewire Adapter [or 1394 Net Adapter] that is corrupted or configured incorrectly. Look in Device Manager under Network Adapters and disable/remove it if not used. That will remove it from the Taskbar. Make sure you don't disable the Ethernet Adapter! Rick [
