Hi, The AGSC currently assign ports 57004 for audio and port 57006 for video on any venues we have assigned ourselves (mainly the "UK Shared Virtual Venues"). This makes is easier for people to set up their firewalls if they are using multicast. Our bridge runs on ports between 1 and 1099

Hi Venhuizen By control computer I assume you mean the one where you run the Venue Client GUI? If so, either static or dynamic ip on that machine is fine. If you are running Fedora Core Linux and you have a static IP on your 'control' computer is suggest you update your /etc/hosts file as outlin

Hi Michael, We run a venueserver and run it within limited port ranges so that it is easier to manage firewalls. In general I think this is a good idea. On our firewalls, we typically open up to specific machines and/or to specific ports on those machines. I think that our firewalls are open to

I have to ask, since recording was mentioned :>, why it would be important for you to record just your own video streams? If you want to record whole meetings, I'd direct your attention to AGVCR (yes, a plug for my own project... who'd have thought it?) since it's designed to record Ac
