The AGSC currently assign ports 57004 for audio and port 57006 for video on any
venues we have assigned ourselves (mainly the "UK Shared Virtual Venues").
This makes is easier for people to set up their firewalls if they are using
multicast. Our bridge runs on ports between 1 and 1099

By control computer I assume you mean the one where you run the Venue
Client GUI?
If so, either static or dynamic ip on that machine is fine.
If you are running Fedora Core Linux and you have a static IP on your

Video images now display locally in both the consumer and producer windows.
What should that line of code do? I haven't noticed anything out of the
ordinary yet...
