Actually, if you use 2 of the Nvidia NVS 440 PCIe x1 quad cards with 8
TripleHead2Go's, you'd get 8 * 3 = 24 displays on one computer. And it works
on both Windows and Macs, not sure about Linux... I've connected 2 of the
TripleHead2Go's on a PC and it worked fine, so I expect it should work w

Bonjour John,

I think the 440 is sounding better and better to me all the time;
Thanks for the reply Chris,
# You've been asked to build on Windows; is it possible to do a mixed
Windows/Linux node?
The limitation is the number of slots on the existing, available
computers. I have another mixed node with four capture cards (bt878)in
the main Multi Media Research Lab that

Cindy,
I'm doing it both ways: multiple display machines and I do have one with
video cards on two different busses (at least I think so) one triple head
PCI-X and one Quad on PCIe...
I've found that if the card has 256Mb Ram on it (video card) it does OK. One
of the quad cards is a PCIe 1X card

Went trying to connect and manage our venue server I got "unable to connect to
server.." errors. After running the VenueManager in debug mode I discovered my
service cert was expired. Is there anyway to get service certs issued for more
than 1 year? Also it would have saved me a lot time
Hi, I have recently built a new video conference suit here in our
building.
A large part of the build is a new AG node to be used for senior
management meetings and, I have this time been asked to build it on
Windows.
The winXP capture machine has given me a series of problems trying to

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone was displaying AG on more than 4 monitors? Maybe
on something like a Powerwall set up..what video display cards seem to
work? Are you running on several machines? VGA or DVI?
I suppose I could run several video display machines to avoid a performance
hit
Headsup: anyone utilizing the LSU bridge will find multicast connectivity
odd as of this morning (last night). They've been moving our connections
between old I2 and NewNet and some of our multicast is NLR, etc. etc.
Currently I can see Argonne multicast and other sites (Antonio's, Lassi's,

I checked this at the time and the bridge seemed to be functioning
fine. I just checked
it again and found it down, so I restarted it.
Thanks for letting us know.
