I recently played around with the SharedPresentation tool, to be able to use
it for our video conferences. During that I discovered a possible bug in the
python script of SharedPresentation.py. To start you obviously use the
COM-ID of PowerPoint (Application.PowerPoint). Unfortunately these IDs seem
not to be the same between english and german versions of PowerPoint. In
consequence this means that the PowerPoint instances started on my laptop
where I have a english version of it in combination with an english version
of windows and didn't start on all my other machines where a german version
was installed. I think this might apply to other Powerpoint versions in
other languages too. Interesting enough this also seems to apply to the
SharedBrowser application. So I think some kind of language
selection/configuration should be implemented for these SharedApplications.

At the moment a work around is to start PowerPoint manually before opening
the SharedPresentation.
