after pressing windows key, type sounds or change system sounds and hit enter.
the change system sound dialog box comes up.
tab cupple of times and tick the checkbox that says play the startup sound.
click apply and ok; you are done.

Logging in is a huge issue.
With the same credentials, I can log in from one desktop and not from others.
It throws up "This user is not active"
So, by the time one manages to log in, half the movie is over. ( smile)

eys there is some seting for this. by default your startup tone in win 10
is disabled. just locate "change system sounds" and under sound pres tab
until you get "play windows startup sound" and tick that check box and say
