It looks like some specific issue with the computer you are using. NVDA
Vocalizer voices are working well on Indian language web sites and also on
Kindle.
This can certainly be solved once you have the computer you are planning to
use it on.

What is the issue you are facing with apps like VitalSource Bookshelf? This is
fully usable with both jaws and NVDA. The application also supports whole
variety of content including math equations.
If you have updated windows 10, then ou should also try Microsoft Edge browser

there is a way to access epub file without any third party peace.
just rename that .epub with .zip and extract that zip file and you will get
"index".htm and open it.
all files will be in htm form and even you can open specific unit/chapter by
locating them.
