Don’t know what's wrong with your n v d a, but, for me, I can able to read the
entire document by pressing the key command insert "n v d a modifier" and
letter a.
Suggestion: please switch to laptop layout and try the same.

I completely agree with Shankar. You should upgrade to the latest version
of Windows
that is Windows 10 as you might face increase in compatibility issues with
others program as well,
because Windows 7 support is no longer available.
