Recently, I have started experiencing a strange problem with SIRI in
my IPhone 12 device, and would be really grateful if anybody could
provide a solution.
Whenever I press the side button and ask something or give a command
to SIRI, its volume becomes

That's what I have been saying. For basic functions of microwave, it
doesn't have to be talking. Any basic microwave is fine for performing
tasks like reheating. Just ask a sighted person to put some marking or
label it, if it's touch screen. That's it.

I also faced the similar situation.
it was indeed very annoying.
do try restarting and this should restore.
Alternatively you could read the below article which offers solution
