*Venu Institute of Universal Education*
The Venu Institute of Universal Education is a unit of Venu Charitable Society, and recognized under Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The Institute offers a one year Diploma programme in New Economy Skills, (IT related) a vocational training programme designed for the visually challenged students. Students who have completed Senior Secondary (10+2) or completed graduation and upto 25 years of age are eligible for admission. Admission (Registration) from 15th April to 15th May, 2010. The course will begin by first week of July, 2010. *Course Modules* There are six course modules, namely, Information Technology (Computers) English Language and Communication, Personality Development, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Soft Skills/Life Skills and Mathematics and Logical Reasoning. Students are encouraged and exposed to variety of extra curricular activities depending on their talents and capabilities. Institute also organizes education cum pleasure trips within Delhi and outside Delhi accompanied by faculty members. *Fee Structure * * * The fee structure is very nominal. Scholarships and sponsorships are also available. Institute premises are very conducive and disable friendly.** *Faculty* The institute has a faculty comprising experienced educationists. Eminent experts with experience in dealing with visually impaired students are invited as visiting faculty. We have experts for career guidance and counseling as well. Experts in the field of Computer Training and Communication Skills are part of the institute. *Hostel Accommodation* The Institute assist the students to secure appropriate hostel accommodation.* *We provide accommodation for limited No. of girls students. *Placement Service* On completion of the course, students may seek help of placement services available at the institute to get suitable placements in jobs like.
