Having been developed in Japan over recent several centuries and having a unique background, the famous shiatsu/ medical massage treatments combined with moxabustion and acupuncture, are known to have benefited an increasing numbers of sufferers of lifestyle diseases, · in prevention of bone and muscle atrophy in bedridden patients by improving blood circulation, · Chronic diseases such as Stiffness, Pain, limitation of movement, poor circulation around neck, shoulder, low back, hip, etc. · Musculo-skeletal, neurological, and circulatory disorders except fracture, spinal disease, cardiac disease, or serious angiosis. Many Asian countries like Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Indonesia have adopted this therapy to cure its people and also to make their visually impaired people become successful healers. Consequently, Japanese Medical Manual Therapy (JMMT) has been brought to India in February 2013, with help of JICA. 6 Visually Impaired Physiotherapists have been trained at NAB Ahmedabad to receive the special Master trainer training from Japanese Trainers visiting from Special Needs Educational School for the Visually Impaired in Tokyo (SNESVI), The practitioners courses will start in both locations by September 2013 in NAB Ahmedabad (can be understood as BPA) and Dehradun NIVH in January 2014. Please find attached the admission form for the 2 year course in Japanese Medical Manual Therapy The eligibility is 12th + No age bar People seriously interested in healing preferred Hostel shall be provided in BPA and NIVH Limited seats People interested for september course should send in the forms by 5th August and the interviews shall be conducted on 13th- 15th august by Japanese Trainers.
