Sharing few of the significant recent initiatives undertaken in space of
digital accessibility to enhance the accessibility of Banks digital and web
channels for both our internal and external customers with disabilities. 

1.      At the Annual Event of mission Accessibility on October 8, 2023,
Union Bank of India was honoured with the distinction of being recognized as
a "model organization in the disability rights sector". We extend our
heartfelt gratitude to the entire Team Mission Accessibility for this
recognition.
2.      On October 15, 2023, our Bank's social media team posted a message
to commemorate World White Cane Day. This initiative aims to raise awareness
about the white cane and reaffirms Bank's unwavering commitment to serving
this segment of our valued customers.
3.      : In the past week, we successfully improved the accessibility of
the Bank's Performance Management System (PMS) portal. This enhancement will
significantly empower visually impaired staff members. During this process,
we had the opportunity to engage with the developers and educate them about
the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) compliance.
4.      We have published informative articles on digital accessibility and
assistive technology in our internal publications. This initiative is
intended to create greater awareness among all our stakeholders.
5.      We have created an instruction manual that outlines the
accessibility features of the Cisco IP phone, a Wide Area Network
(WAN)-based communication device used by our staff for internal
communications. The manual is available to staff members through the Bank's
intranet portal.

We are striving to make banking services more accessible and inclusive for
everyone .
