Pranjal lost her eyesight at an early age of six due to Retinitis Pigmentosa. Following which she was shifted to a special residential School for Blind girls in Mumbai, Maharashtra, the decision she is grateful for and that changed the course of her life. Pranjal's interest in civil service examinations was a result of her keenness towards social issues and the enthusiasm to tackle them. In her first stint as an IAS officer, she was posted as an Assistant Collector in Ernakulam, Kerala, in 2018. Currently posted as District Magistrate for Sharda district, Pranjal believes in fulfilling her roles and responsibilities with utmost sincerity.
