VisionAware News

September is an exciting month at VisionAware
<http://www.visionaware.org/default.aspx> . Here is some of the new
content you can look forward to reading!

1. Starting this month, VisionAware is bringing back the agency of
the month series that was so popular on Senior Site. In keeping with
Healthy Aging Month
<http://www.visionaware.org/community.aspx?AnnouncementID=1327> we are
highlighting our national partner, the National Eye Health Education
Program (NEHEP)

If your agency is interested in becoming a VisionAware agency of
the month, please send an email to Pris Rogers <mailto:prog...@afb.net>
, VisionAwares program manager.
2. In keeping with the theme of Healthy Aging Month, VisionAware
has added new content to our very popular "Your Eye Condition" area:
astigmatism

3. Are you a grandparent? Gil Johnson, VisionAwares home repair
expert
<http://www.visionaware.org/section.aspx?FolderID=8&SectionID=128&TopicI
D=501> , has just written an article
<http://www.visionaware.org/section.aspx?FolderID=10&SectionID=137&Docum
entID=6151> in time for National Grandparents Day celebrated on
September 9th.

Thanks to a number of you who participated in user testing, we will be
tweaking the look of VisionAware and moving message boards and blogs to
a newly created "Get Involved section
<http://www.visionaware.org/section.aspx?FolderID=10> . You will still
be able to access these topics on the homepage as well. Please let us
know <mailto:visionaw...@afb.net> if there are other changes that we
should consider to make VisionAware easier to navigate!
