hi!
in g mail there is no concept of a folder. you can assign nore than
one labels to a conversation and it will appear in all the label
headings. this makes it easier to reference a single conversation in
multiple ways.

Thank you friends, I too had a doubt in gmail. I could create a folder
of my own in rediffmail, so I thought there should be some option to
create a folder in gmail too.

I tried creating a folder by my name going to settings in gmail but
