Dear Members,
A friend of mine asked me how we can get the IP address of our computer. So, I
want to know what the IP address is and from where we can get it.
I hope some knowledgeable members will throw some light in this regard.

Following are steps to obtain IP address of your computer
1. Launch Run dialog box by pressing Control + R.
2. Type cmd in Run dialog box to launch command prompt window
3. Type ipconfig in this command prompt window and press enter. This will
display several information along with IP
If I am not wrong then the command to launch the run dialog box is windows +
r instead of ctrl + r.
