Accessible App Competition 06-06-2013 04:11 PM BST Body: Are you a budding app developer? Would you like to develop an accessible app? Transport for London (TfL) are running a competition with a £5000 prize to design an accessible travel app for bus and rail customers. With the rise in the use of smart phones and tablets you could have a positive impact on a number of people by making them more independent by providing information that they had struggled to access before. TfL have made available some of the data that could be included in the app such as timetables, London charge points and traffic disruption information. There is a 7 step guidance document about getting started with creating accessible apps and other resources that may be useful on the OneVoiceICT website. The closing date for the competition is the 30th August 2013.
