Hi friends on my Dell Laptop I have only 2 drives, C and D, comprising
150 GB each approx. I want to divide the hard disk into three parts
viz. C, D and E. Please guide me how can I do it with out formatting
the windows? I am using Windows 7 ultimate.

Hi,
Without formatting, either you can divide your drive c or drive d but
you can not merge both and again divide into three parts.
Before seeking such suggestion, let you clear:
1. which windows are you using?
2. What is the empty memory of the drive wished to divide?

You can do it by yourself.
However, the maximum or minimum size of each new drive is decided by
the system.
I have to see it again.

Once you are using window 7, no need to download and install any software.
You can do the work with the tools already installed in your computer.
Do the following:
1. Right click to my Computer.
2. Select Manage and press enter.
A tree view will appear.
3. select Disk management and press ente
