We have taken a policy called 'Jheevan Saati', meant to be for working couple. And there is no reason why it shouldn't be given to VI person, particularly when they work and hold responsible positions. The attitude is one of several things I intend to address in my Ph.D.

Well, here local administrative officer of LIC has told me blind persons are not given joint policies with anybody. He however was not able to show any written circulars etc. in this behalf.
