In the BDC elections in UP, Badaung district has thrown a shocking revelation. 30 people were issued fake blindness certificates to win the elections. As the rulebook says, in the local elections, blind people are entitled to go along with their assistant to cast their vote. And in this case which was staged overnight, it was done so that the helpers could do the needful for the patron candidate. Is there any NGO which will take up this case with the State Election Commission? or write to the CCPD? don't we know that an blind IAS drives a car? lets rethink about how we should vote? and how to curb this menace? if things are not controlled on time, blind people gonna face this music more frequently.
