Oracle sees strong customer momentum in Asia Pacific, Japan

Bangalore, (PTI): Oracle on Thursday said it has registered a "strong" customer 
momentum across Asia Pacific and Japan (JAPAC) in its second quarter of
fiscal year FY08 (ended November 30, 2007).

"Organisations across key industries continue to choose Oracle as the strategic 
platform for their company-wide business systems to drive competitiveness,
lower toal cost of ownership and achieve a single, global view of their 
operations, the company said in a release.

"Customers are selecting Oracle as they recognise the advantages of working 
with a single business IT partner that can meet all their needs," said Derek
Williams, Chairman and Executive vice-president, Oracle Asia Pacific and Japan.
