Dear Access Indians, The Envision Research Institute (https://research.envisionus.com) is seeking candidates for a two-year post-doc Fellowship on policy & employment of blind and visually impaired people. This fellowship is fully funded by the National Industries for the Blind (NIB)!
Our goal at Envision Research Institute is to restore function to the blind and visually impaired. We dedicate our research to investigating the functional implications of vision loss, early screening and access to treatments, optimizing rehabilitation therapies and developing accessibility technology. With this fellowship, we are broadening our efforts. Research goals for this fellowship include identifying new areas of professional growth for people who are blind or visually impaired, forecast the impact of social trends, population and demographic shifts in the USA, and technological advancement that might be possible for people who are blind and visually impaired (BVI) in the workforce of the future. This fellowship is an exciting opportunity for a young researcher!
