Hello Janardhana, There have been significant improvements in recognition accuracy between fine reader v8 and fine reader v10 so go for v10. To answer your earlier question about scanning applications, comparing programs like Kurzweil and Fine Reader is like comparing apples to oranges. Kurzweil
