mentioned as your 1990 memories are the best even today. You will get
a lot better accuracy of OCR text in flatbed scanner comparing to snap
camera based scanners. Better to buy a flatbed scanner with good speed

nvda that allow you to interface with scanners. Jaws does so natively I
believe.
