CVI (Cortical Visual Impairment) is visual impairment due to neurological damage. In this condition, whatever is seen by the eyes, would not be able to be processed and interpreted by the brain. It is one of the leading causes of pediatric visual impairment in the world. We have our guest, Ms Lisha Yochimowitz, talking about the condition, its intervention, adaptations and schooling for children with CVI. Lisha has over 25 years of experience as a teacher for the visually impaired (TVI), specialising in CVI.
