Yes, it is happening with me too. I am using OnePlus 8T. I tried everything
to resolve the issue but all in vain. Everytime i have to restart the phone
to get rid of this issue.
Meanwhile, i have also written to OnePlus team. Let's see what happens.

Hi all, greetings.
After updating the 1plus 9r to android 12, I am facing a strange issue that
opening any app, the media controls are displayed on the middle of the
screen. And there is no possibility to hide them.
Its really annoying kindly suggest the way out for get the fix.
