The National Federation of the Blind as always been concerned about protection of rights of all the person with disabilities, in this regard the federation is once again taking an outrageous efforts. After knocking every possible door for the interest of visually impaired brothers and sister in the country, the federation is now forced organize a rally on 3rd December 2014 from 11 am onward at Jantarmantar so as to raise these issues on a public platform. The issues which the federation would most likely to raise through this rally are as follows:- 1. even after directions been given by the Hon'ble High Court and Supreme Court the Department of Personnel and Training had not made the aforesaid amendments in its OM so as to grantee reservation in promotion to all the person with disabilities in group A and B. 2. although the Hon'ble High Court had twice directed the Northern Railway to allow totally blind candidates as well to appear for Group D posts by organizing a special recruitment drive . The Northern Railway still remain insane on this matter and continue to commit contempt of court's orders. The northern railway is not accepting the forms of over 1000 VI persons inspite of court orders. But federation won't still give up hope and would like to raise this issue on a public platform so that our voice could be heard and supported by the entire universe. But for this move as well with due respect we would like to invite all our worriers to stand in the front so as to win this battle as well. WE REQUEST YOU ALL TO PLEASE JOIN us in large numbers AT JANTARMANTAR ON 3rd December 2014 FROM 11 am onward. WE KNOW THAT TOGETHER WE CAN AND WE WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN.
