Dear colleagues, Deadline October 7 Link to access survey: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/GNP5AJ/
*** Elrha is a global charity that finds solutions to complex humanitarian problems through research and innovation. The innovations funded through the Elrha Humanitarian Innovation Fund (HIF) target better outcomes for people affected by humanitarian crises by identifying, nurturing and sharing more effective and scalable solutions. Elrha’s work is problem-led and evidence-based, and in 2019 Elrha commissioned a Gap Analysis on the inclusion of people with disabilities and older people in humanitarian response. The final report will be published shortly and will present high-level findings on the quality, quantity and focus of existing research, guidance and activity on the inclusion of older people and persons with disabilities in humanitarian response. To build on the Gap Analysis findings, Elrha has commissioned a team of consultants managed by Lucie Pannell to undertake a narrower and deeper exploration of particular problem areas identified. These include driving organisational change, translating commitments into practice, going beyond basic data collection, adapting to local and diverse contexts, and others. This survey will contribute to the exploration of the problem areas identified. The findings will be published by Elrha and will help inform Elrha’s next Innovation Challenges due to launch in January 2021. For further information see: https://www.elrha.org/inclusion-disabilities-older-people/ The survey will take a maximum of 20 minutes and all responses will be anonymous. Please follow this link to complete the survey by 7 October. Your contribution is greatly appreciated. https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/GNP5AJ/ [cid:image001.png@01D68D45.765CC760] Murali Padmanabhan Disability Inclusion Advisor Light for the World www.light-for-the-world.org Niederhofstr. 26, 1120 Vienna, Austria +43 1 81013000 +91-9663312676 LIGHT FOR THE WORLD is saving eyesight, improving the quality of life and advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities in underprivileged regions of our world.
