Rajasthan Netraheen Kalyan Sangh invites applications for basic
computer course in Jaipur Rajasthan.
Following are the details for the course:-
Date: from 01/01/2019 to 30/04/2019,
Venue: - Rajasthan netraheen kalyan sangh, Jaipur,
Eligibility criteria:- • Any visually challenged at least 12th pass by
any recognized education board,
• Can understand English / hindi as it is required to learn the
computer concepts.
What’s in the course?
The course is aimed for visually challenged people prepare to
use computer independendtly for there employment and personal
use.
The course will run for 4 months and free accommodation and food will
be provided to all students except living in Jaipur.
We’ll be using NVDA as our primary screen reader, windows 10 as our
operating system and Microsoft office 2010 for other office
applications.
Following areas would be a main focus:-
•  Computer glossary,
•  Hardware and software,
•  Concept of screen reader including NVDA, JAWS, Narrator etc,
•       Hindi and English typing,
•  Files and folder management,
•  Microsoft word,
•  Microsoft excel,
•  Microsoft PowerPoint,
•  Internet browsing,
•  Finding and reading accessible books,
•  Scanning and OCR,
•  Periodic workshops for using android/IOS mobiles,
•  Periodic workshop for personality development.
