People who are working on projects in Python or Ruby, or looking for software to write that might actually benefit someone, are welcome. In Ruby on Rails, we will be augmenting the software at the site skid.org.in, which helps children with mental challenges communicate, learn and play. In Python, we will be working on a community-based software to monitor Internet filtering. Beginners in these languages are also welcome. Unfortunately, you can only speak in the forum if you are using a MS-Windows based machine. Those using Linux and Macs can listen, and type in the text chat, but not use their mikes. If people are aware of online conferencing facilities at reasonable rates without these limitations, please let me know.
