There are several decent options in Cannaught Place which has direct
connected metro line to vishv vidhalaya. I am not sure about your
budget, you may want to give a search on goibibo filtering out the
results as per your requirements.

Madam, Delhi University is well connected with Metro train which is
known as vishwavidyalaya metro station and once you come out of Gate
No.4 from this metro station you will easily find E Riksha and hier
them to any part of Delhi University north Campus with nominal rate,
even Delhi University
