Hi, We submitted -06 addressing the comments received during the IETF last call.
- Clarified that the Client typically first tries using DTLS to connect to the Resource Server. If this fails, the Client MAY try to connect to the Resource Server via TLS. Change based on a comment from Tirumaleswar Reddy. - Added "Clients and Resource Servers SHOULD support DTLS and MAY support TLS." Change based on a comment from Tirumaleswar Reddy. - Added detailed information including a new section describing how the document updates RFC 9202. Change based on a comment from Paul Kyzivat. We don't think a RFC9202bis document is realistic at this moment as that would cause significant delays and 3GPP TS 33.434 has a dependency on draft-ietf-ace-extend-dtls-authorize. We have not changed the category to informal as that would hinder the currently suggested IANA actions.
