That failed, BUT... I went back and tried a snapshot from the 1.0.0-RC2 release date and that failed as well. So I cleared Maven's repository and cache directories and tried again with the latest checkout. That worked. So it was a local problem. I believe CVS is OK after all. ...Richard On
