I have this problem only since upgrading to 2.6.25 - it isn't there with 2.6.24
which I am using now (I downgraded).

1. you have vmware 3rd party modules loaded. that`s not part of mainline
kernel,so kernel is sort of tainted. i would first make sure that these

Additional info for above - it only occurs when I have resumed from disk after
having hibernated using s2disk. On a normal boot it doesn't happen.
