No backlights are listed with that acpi option
Unfortunately older kernels didn't work due to the other bug. I could try

IMO, this is a BIOS bug to me, and I'm afraid we can not fix it in Linux
kernel.
please try boot option "acpi_backlight=vendor", and see if there is any
backlight I/F
