well, by re-reading your BIOS, it seems that the AML code is not well written,
and there are too many places that need to be fixed.

it's a SMI call that causes the crash.
it's weird that it's an IGD OpRegion BIOS.
but the backlight control(_BCM) doesn't go via IGD OpRegion.
