Great, fabulous, unbelievable, as of linux-image-2.6.20-16.29 my Vaio
VGN-S560P is able to shutdown itself. This at the same time make
hibernation work more smoothly, since before I had a hard time figuring
out, when hibernation was finished and therefore when I could hit the

In my laptop, shuting down still not working with 2.6.20-16
I removed all sound card related modules to check if it has something to
do with it, but It seems thats not the problem.

With 'noapic' I don't get system hang-ups anymore, but the overheating stays.
