Examine the IE security settings with
a fine toothed comb. Try adding sites to trusted zones, try running
java pages off a local source, disable every IE security setting you can

Right you are. The employeeid field does exist - it's just not tied to a
class that would allow it to be effectivley used.

regarding the "Domain Admins" global group and strategy for migration of
resources in which this group is a member of the local "Administrators"
