what kind
of mail client are u using?? in my experience, ur client could be mistakenly
configured i.e. if outlook, maybe a filter is applied that makes u see unread
messages which once read then disappears or maybe u have configured ur
mails to drop to ur local machine...diff

(go to plain text vs. ?) or it could be the message wall server that
needs adjusting.
