Not sure what has changed in our policies but does anyone
know of what policy may be in effect that would only show My recent documents,
desktop and My network places when you try to open a file in an application such
as MS Office or Internet Explorer? Just noticed this on our 2003 Terminal
Here is the situation. We are running Terminal Services with Tarantella
Secure Global Desktop. Due to Microsofts wondeful licensing scheme and
cost of MS Office we currently only have MS Office on maybe 20% of our
computers and Open Office on the other 80%. We are looking at
centralizing the app
We are looking at making the department directors here a little more
responsible for their users. We are thinking about allowing them to
have the rights to change passwords.
Is anyone else doing this? If so how are you going about doing it?

I deployed Acrobat Reader in our test environment using a group policy. It
worked great. I wanted to uninstall it to try a few other things. When I
use add/remove programs I get an error saying invalid U drive. When I map
any drive to the U it works fine. Any ideas why I would be getting this?
