We have a single domain, single zone that was upgraded from NT4. I would
like to make the DNS AD-integrated, it now loads from the registry. Is it as
simple as changing the Load zone data on startup to From Active Directory
and registry in the DNS server properties? It is currently From registry.
creating a desktop from a icons stored on a share (as in NT policies). Can
anyone point me in the right direction to create the same functionality we
had with NT?

is there a utility
I'm upgrading an NT4 PDC and the installation wizard is asking me to select
default permissions, permissions compatible with pre-Windows 2000 servers
and permissions compatible only with Windows 2000 servers. We don't use RAS
and this is going to be native-mode. Is there any other reason why I
that I shouldn't use your registered DNS name for the AD, something like
ssd.santee.k12.ca.us. Any advice on this subject would be appreciated.

Have had SP3 on just that configuration for 3 weeks now, Justin. Nothing to
report. Just make sure to re-service pack the Exchange after and it was
suggested on the Exchange list that Exchange Optimizer be run after
everything.
