Currently I'm using a primary DNS on one of my domain controllers. The
setup is a partial integration. I would like to have a full integration
with AD. My DNS server is acting as a forwarder so I'm not sure if a
full integration will work? Or will it? I have two domain controllers
and one E2k serve

In AD there is an IUSR_... and IWAM_... user profile. Do these serve as
anonymous login accounts? Do they need to be left open or can they be
disabled? How are they used and how do they interact with the network?
My concern is that I just don't want to have user accounts out there
wide open if they

I noticed an object in AD under the Computers object called BEserver.
The description is "serviceconnectionpoint". Does anybody have any idea
what the purpose of this object is? I've never seen it before. Any help
will be grateful.
Thanks,
John

I was looking through the security event log and noticed
quite a few different logon failures. There are unknown names trying to login
to unknown computers. Here is an example of what I see. Has anyone run into
this before? Any ideas or leads as to where I can find more information on
this?
Can someone please explain to me when I would want to use 'block policy
inheritance' and why or why not I would want to use this option?
Thanks,
John

I am currently using it and I like it. I think I would much rather use
something like sms though only because it's capable of doing so much
more.
Just my two cents..

I have a policy set up for a few users and the purpose of it is to do a
redirect of their my documents folder to a folder on their network

moved the destination folder from one server to another server. I

I have a policy set for passwords; the passwords are set to expire every

password now?" (The number changes, it does a countdown). However, if

permissions tab. you can specify who has full, user or guest access.
I am not sure if this is what you need or if this helps.

You can disable this in AD Users and Computer per user, and I believe
RRAS
will also allow you to control who can access Terminal Services, but I

I'm running terminal services on 4 servers and was wondering if there is
any kind of security available for this? I don't want anybody who might
have a username/password of someone on the domain to be able to login
remotely.
Thanks,
John

Hi, I'm looking at blowing out my W2k/E2k server. How can I determine
what Raid level is setup on it? And If I format the drives, do I have to
break the Raid and rebuild the Raid?
Thanks,
John
