I concur. If the sysvol directory is shared and you are not seeing replication errors in the event logs, I wouldn't worry about it. Run Netdiag /v /l >c:\netdiag.txt to get a more thorough diagnostic on the success of your install. BTW, I haven't seen the event log/dcdiag report correlation.
