Title: Changing netbootGUID

We are now using Shuttle nVidia based systems as a standard system. They work great, except that the badly done nVidia boot agent always reports the same GUID when doing an RIS installation. So when you image a system, you get a duplicate ID error when it tried to join the domain.

I've managed to get around this problem by using the RIS boot disk/CD, but that is getting older and doesn't support many drivers. One way that I would like to work around it is to change the netbootGUID once the system has been imaged. I've done this on a few systems, and it seems to work. However, aside from pre-staging computers, I'm not sure what else it's used for, so I'm concerned about changing it. Is it safe to change this value?

Thanks,
Erick
