Hello, Thanks for your response, Thorbjörn. Ive inspecting once again the package, and as we did a bare bones package, we left blank several fields as the version , author etc.. It seems Windows Installer need some of these fields to proper rollout the .msi. As soon as we filled those fields the package ran fine.
The bad aspect of the question is that the error trigered by a bad package 80070103 is also trigered by many many many other things in windows ranging from windows update problems, .NET apps to AD replication. That is windows...
