We are currently in the process of rolling out an
application called "Update Expert" that will allow us
to do this (among other things) remotely...

Thanks to those who
helped previously...new issue. I have successfully rolled out W2K SP2, IE6
and Office 2000. Am still a bit stuck with the office SP's/SR's and hotfixes.
What is the best way to roll out a *.msp ie. SR1a and SP2 for Office, please
note I do not want to use SMS but I

I have deployed Office 2k (and
other apps)

then had to remove them because of a mistake. Then redeployed

Installation privilages
How do you assign just the ability to install
software on a local machine. I cannot find this permission under the
local Group Policy User Right Assignment. As well I cannot find this
permission under the domain based Group Policy,
