If I understand the problem in #1, You migrated the
user's SID history but not the SID history of these groups. "Migrate" your
Domain Users and Domain Admins groups. Basically at that point you'll have
the SID history attached to these groups in the target domain and they will wor
ou need RPCPING and the script. RPCping came from the Win2k3 resource kit.

I would second that about making sure the users are logged off. The earlier betas of
2.0 really flaked out on that, so make sure you did use the 2.0 release.

I can speak to problem number 2. We found during
our migration of about 4000 workstations with ADMT v2, that rebooting the
workstation right before running the migration made that problem go away.

haven't used bindview but we're using Quest Fastlane Migrator. In fact i'm
using it as I type this in another window. Has a few glitches but for the
most part it's working well to migrate users and desktops and
