Subject: Crypt::SSLeay problems
I have been trying for days to get SSL working in my perl environment with
no success.
I finally stumbled upon http://theoryx5.uwinni
. But when I try
to run a script to do a GET over https I get a pop up stating:
"This application has failed to start because SSLEAY32.dll was not found.
Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
I have tried compiling OpenSSL and Crypt::SSLeay manually using
cygwin(mingw) and

Looks like it passed here:

but ppm can't find it and its not in this list:

Where is it and where can I get it then?

Subject: Re: LWP https SSL Crypt-SSLeay timeout not working/implemented?
Hi there
I know this is a long shot :), but i've just come across this same SSL
timeout problem that you came across.
I was wondering if
ActiveState doesn't maintain a compilation of Crypt-SSLeay.
Add this repository to ppm3's config, and you should find
it.

Hi
I see that Crypt::SSLeay is not available from the PPM repository for
ActiveState's Perl 5.8.0. Does anyone know if this is being worked on or if there is
another way to get HTTPS support for LWP::UserAgent on Win32?
Thanks,

Windows2000.
I want to use LWP::UserAgent with HTTPS request and therefore I

be needed to use OpenSSL? It seems to possible to use this
Hi,
I want to use Crypt::SSLeay to get shtml stuff trough a firewall. With
the version 0.17.1 currently in ppm it doesn't seem to work.
Without Firewall it is OK. Maybe 0.17.1 doesn't support firewalls ?
Is there any newer version and when yes, how can I install it.

problems. But for some reason
